Refund policy

By law, customers located in the UK have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered.
Where you are withdrawing from your purchase within the seven working day cooling-off period, and there has been no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the item and the cost of sending the item to you. We will not refund the cost of returning the item. You must inform us before returning the item(s).
To be eligible for a refund, you must return your item to us in the same condition you received it. If the item has been damaged, we can request photographic evidence for proof.

We cannot refund any costs for items returned damaged by yourself. 
We must be informed about the intention to return an item in writing. We will then respond with the best way to proceed with the return.

ALCOHOL (AGE-RESTRICTED PRODUCTS)
All persons ordering and receiving alcoholic products must be 18 years of age or older, in accordance with UK law.

We operate Challenge 25. This means that if the person receiving the delivery appears to be under 25, they will be asked to provide valid photographic identification (e.g. passport, UK driving licence, or approved PASS card).

Our authorised carrier may request ID on delivery and reserves the right to refuse delivery if:

  • valid proof of age is not provided, or
  • the recipient is under 18, or
  • the carrier believes the delivery is being accepted on behalf of someone under 18.

If delivery is refused due to age verification, the goods will be returned to the depot and/or returned to Buy South Africa Online Ltd.

Buy South Africa Limited Ltd is bound by the Licensing Act 2003 and is regulated by Trading Standards in relation to the sale of age-restricted products.

Alcohol deliveries cannot be left in a safe place or delivered to unattended addresses.

Damaged Products

We will replace/refund any unusable products due to damage. Dented tins happen. We do not send out dented tins so any dents are due to delivery. We package tins as well as we can within limits. Unless the tin is damaged to an extent the seal has been compromised, rendering it risk of contamination, we ask to use discretion before complaining.
