Mannys

Mannys sauces come from Chef Manny Goncalves, the man behind Chickenland in Johannesburg, the restaurant that started South Africa's love affair with peri-peri chicken. Manny began bottling his piri piri sauces and marinades in 1985, using a recipe based on traditional Mozambican piri piri.

Our Mannys range:

• Piri piri sauces: Mild and Hot, for dipping, drizzling and cooking. The Mild won a Quality Food Award in 2016
• Chicken marinades: Chicken Marinade and HOT Chicken Marinade, for proper peri-peri chicken on the braai, barbecue or in the oven
• Ready to cook: our Mannys Peri-Peri Chicken Flattie, a whole British chicken already coated in Mannys marinade

The sauces and marinades are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
