Ouma has been baking rusks on the family farm near Molteno in the Eastern Cape since the 1930s. The muesli variety adds raisins, oats and roasted peanuts to the classic rusk base, giving it a chewier bite and a naturally sweeter, nuttier flavour than the plain buttermilk version.
