We have teamed up with The Fine Truffle company to produce this incredible biltong flavour. We use dried Italian black truffle, Tartufo estivo disidratato (Tuber aestivum Vitt.)which uses 7kg fresh truffle to make 1kg dried truffle powder and is 94% pure truffle. The retail truffle powders on the market are only 5% truffle.
We use top quality grass-fed British or Irish beef to make our drywors. The spices are imported from South Africa, mixed with the meat and diluted vinegar and stuffed into natural sheep casings before going into the dryer.
Our drywors is not too lean with just the correct amount of fat to give it that proper flavour and texture. If you do prefer your drywors dry or wet, please add to your comments field and we will do the best we can to accommodate.
