Chicken Flattie – Manny's Peri-Peri

A whole British chicken, flattened and ready for the braai

Manny's began at Chickenland in Johannesburg, the restaurant whose peri-peri recipe went on to launch an international chain of piri-piri chicken restaurants. We coat a 1.4kg British Farm Assured spatchcocked chicken in that same original Manny's marinade: garlic, olive oil, black pepper, bay leaves and a touch of honey. It has no artificial flavourings, colourants or GMO ingredients.

Because the chicken is spatchcocked (opened out flat), it cooks evenly and quickly on the braai, barbecue or in the oven. You get crisp, charred skin and juicy meat without any fuss. It's a favourite with customers and staff alike.

Make it a peri-peri feast: add a bottle of Manny's Piri Piri sauce, Mild or Hot, for the table.

The total cost of the product includes the chilled meat packaging.

Delivery: We send fresh meat on Wednesdays and Thursdays. We can't send fresh meat to some parts of Scotland, the Channel Islands or Northern Ireland, as next-day delivery isn't guaranteed there.
