Bakers Romany Creams Classic Choc 200g

Bakers Romany Creams® don’t need an introduction. These crunchy choc coconut sandwich biscuits have been delighting South Africans for decades. Chances are you’ve tried and loved the original.

Romany Creams are similar to the Gypsy Creams that used to be found in the UK.

Ingredients: Biscuit: Wheat Flour, Sugar, Unhydrogenated Palm Oil, Desiccated Coconut (9%) (Preservative (Sodium Metabisulphate)), Maize Starch, Green Nonpareils (Sugar, Maize Starch, Colourants (E110, E133, E104)), Colour (E150C), Salt, Golden Syrup, Raising Agents (Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate), Cocoa Powder.

Choc Filling: Sugar, Skimmed Milk Powder, Unhydrogenated Vegetable Oil (Palm Mesocarp, Palm Kernel (Soya)), Cocoa Mass, Emulsifier (E322 from Soy)

I think they are as I remember them, but didn't realise there was palm oil in them. Probably won't order again due to this.

Thanks for the feedback. If you are concerned about the source of the Palm Oil, AVI (owners of Bakers) uses RSPO approved Palm Oil which you can find in the link below which is an interesting read if you are concerned about their ethics and environmental impact.
