Simonsig Mr Borio's Shiraz

A Shiraz with a captivating dark red colour and a rich, bold fruit profile. It's named after the characterful Mr Borio, who built the cement tanks at Simonsig.

Tasting notes

Deep, intense dark red. Violets and blackberry on the nose, then blackberry, raspberry and plum on the palate, with fine-grained tannins, a silky texture and a smooth, long finish.

Food pairing

Braai ribs or chops, gourmet burgers, venison pie, meat-lover's pizza or stuffed mushrooms. Serve at 15–18°C.
