Cadbury In 1824, John Cadbury opened a grocer’s shop at 93 Bull Street, Birmingham. Among other things, he sold cocoa and drinking chocolate, which he prepared himself using a pestle and mortar. In 2012, the Dairy Milk [plain] Fairtrade certification in South Africa was a major breakthrough for the whole of the Fairtrade movement in Africa with the first ever Fairtrade chocolate slab made and sold in Africa. In June 2013 they introduced the new Dairy Milk packaging, helping drive the essence of Joy. New icons representing each flavour of the Dairy Milk range come to life in a fresh and fun way.
